On Honda 2025 and up, Android Auto is recommended
You can switch to Android Auto by following this:
Plug the device into your car or any power source. Wait 30 seconds after the light turns on, then insert a pin, like a paperclip, into the hole on the opposite side of the charger port for 3 seconds. After that, wait one or two minutes for the device to restart.
I have the AutoWays X and I tried these steps but nothing happens, it doesn't restart after I insert the pin and it remains with Apple CarPlay. I have an odyssey 2026 and the autoways just disconnected in middle of driving and was unable to reconnect.
Update: I installed the latest updates, and now inserting a pin for 3 seconds did work to switch it to android auto
